On Tuesday my son told me about entrepeneurs day at school tomorrow. We had the ideas of what their group is going to do etc. He had to then go back to school and talk to the guys in his group and they had to decide who will bring what and how they will do this thing. I completely forgot about it, cause I have a million and one things to think of. He then only reminded me today, this aftrnoon. My goodnes, how many times have we told him not to leave things to the last minute. Is it my fault? Should I have reminded him? Well, tonight we've been scrambling around to get this done. Luckily we worked something out that will work and got his sign printed and mounted. Got numbers for the draw and a plan in action. Just hope he can pull it off now. They have one hour to make as much money as they can and must pay back every cent they used to set it up. Luckily for my son, we already had all the materials he needs.
So my point being, was I suppose to remember this yesterday? Was it up to him, my 13 year old son to remember? Am I a bad mom forgetting things like that?

You're not a bad mom for forgetting his homework! This would be a great opportunity to teach him how to write down his assignments in a notebook and when they are due. Then he'll have to learn to keep track of his own things. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteProblem is, I do tell him and showed him how. He has a mind of his own.
